If I have a Ledger or Trezor, is it useful to use Sead ?
Yes. It is even absolutely necessary ! Indeed these hardware wallets ask you to store your seed phrase. Preserving the seed phrase is the only way to recover your ledger or Trezor in case you loose them or if you have to replace them.
In short, Sead is the perfect complement to hardware wallets !

If I have a software wallet, such as Metamask or Lace, is Sead useful ?
Yes. It is even absolutely necessary ! Indeed these software wallets ask you to store your seed phrase. Preserving the seed phrase is the only way to recover your account in case you loose them or if you have to replace them.
In short, Sead is the perfect complement to software wallets !

If I have a cold storage solution such as cryptosteel is it still useful to use Sead?
Yes. It is even absolutely necessary ! These cold storage solutions are a single point of failures (if you loose the device you loose the seed phrase), they do not protect against copy or theft. They do not allow to distribute some of your seed phrase except if you buy multiple copies of the devices. And then these solutions become way too expensive in addition to not protecting you very well.
In short, you should replace these systems with Sead !
