Our Frequently
Asked Questions

  • What is Sead Safe?

Sead Safe is your personal digital vault for securely storing information of your choice—such as encrypted QR codes or important directives. Here’s how it works:

    1. Flexible Storage

      • You can upload various types of sensitive data, like text files, images, or even encrypted QR codes, into your Sead Safe.
    2. Encouraged Decentralization

      • While you can store a few QR codes in your Sead Safe for convenience, we recommend against storing all of them there.
      • Keeping multiple copies in different locations helps maintain a truly decentralized backup strategy.
    3. Cold Storage Mode

      • Once uploaded, your information does not stay online indefinitely. Sead Safe operates like cold storage, minimizing exposure to potential online threats.

By design, Sead Safe empowers you to add an extra layer of security to critical data—while still adhering to Sead’s broader principle of decentralized storage.

  • What Can I put into Sead Safe?

You may store any document (restricted to the supported file formats such as PDF, etc and within the maximum allocated storage space). The content you store in Sead Safe is not interpreted nor read nor known by Sead.

In case you wish to store some of your QR codes on Sead Safe, we strongly advise to encrypt them.

  • Does Sead have access to the documents put into Sead Safe?

No. The content you store in Sead Safe is not interpreted nor read nor known by Sead.
